I completed a series of paintings at the London Motorbike Museum, of which the Ariel Arrow was one of the set. This motorbike from 1961 was a classic Rocker’s racer seen tearing up the streets of Brighton or hanging out at the Ace Cafe in London. I loved its ‘futuristic touches’, the stylish gold tank, the detailing making the exhausts feel like rocket ships, and its flashy red hand grips…
