I enjoy drawing, painting, working with colour, and making marks.
This selection of sketches range from the earliest in Bridgend 1989, right through to Thailand in late 2023 and are some of my favourite pieces. Thirty odd years of looking directly at the world around me.
All are drawn from life, sitting on a wonky camping stool in all weather with a selection of pencils, charcoal, watercolours and inks. They are not necessarily my best work, but what they do evoke in me is the pure enjoyment, and memories of creating art in a time and a place.
